About Aatmaja

Aatmaja Patel is an experienced physiotherapist with over 8 years of clinical experience supporting people through pain, injury rehabilitation, and movement-related concerns.

She did her physiotherapy training in India and later completed her Master’s degree at Western Sydney University. Over the years, Aatmaja has worked with a wide range of patients across different ages, backgrounds, and clinical needs. This has shaped her adaptable, and person-centred approach to care. Fun fact - Aatmaja’s youngest patient to date has been 6 days old, and her oldest, 99 years of age!

Aatmaja’s main area of focus is musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has a strong interest in treating neck pain, headaches, TMJ and jaw-related concerns, back pain, sciatica, hip conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and both recent and long-standing pain presentations. Her approach combines thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, tailored exercise rehabilitation, and clear education to help patients understand their condition and participate actively in their recovery.

Aatmaja also has a special interest in women’s health and has completed APA Level 1 Women’s Health training. This allows her to support women across different life stages with informed, respectful, and appropriate care, while continuing to apply a strong musculoskeletal and functional rehabilitation approach.

According to her patients, Aatmaja is known for being calm, professional, caring, and easy to communicate with, she aims to create a supportive environment where patients feel listened to, understood, and confident in their treatment plan. Her goal is to help each person move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Outside the clinic, Aatmaja enjoys playing social badminton, spending time with family and friends, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
